Any advantage to purchase clubs from the US ?
Hi all, am at beginner's level and have been practicing with my Mizuno #7 for quite a while already and have tried with my friend's TaylorMade clubs (not sure which model). I was going to wait for a while before I get my first set of clubs but since I'm in the States now, saw the iron prices are quite attractive. Would you think it is worthwhile to carry them all the way and what's the price difference in HK like? I'm considering because I have no idea on the price difference between HK and US. Of course the consideration is that I still have no idea which customization suits me more, if I get them now, I would just be able to get the regular flex and with standard settings.
TaylorMade r7 graphite $899 - more intermediary and may last longer in my golf life but seems a but expensive for a beginner, unless there is a huge price differenceTaylorMade r7 CGB Max graphite $849 - same as aboveCleveland HiBore graphite $699 - high hdp use but seems 2nd hand value is not as good as the other brandsNike Ignote Hybrid graphite $469 - hybrid, seems to be the trend for 2008 but concerns with Nike golf brandingCobra 2008 FP II graphite $599 - beginners' level with latest designCobra FP graphite $399 - more beginners' level and price is reasonable, consider resale value if I upgrade later
